JTK Cabinets

JTK Cabinets is a custom cabinet and casework shop located in Central Iowa.  Owned and operated by John Kastendieck, a lifelong resident of the Fort Dodge area.  I have been in the construction world since I was in high school, where I worked for my father's construction business.  I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Iowa State University and I specialized in wood and furniture design.  After college I worked for a local cabinet and casework company.  I gained a wide variety of skills in every aspect of the business, from manufacturing to office work on producing cabinets and casework for a varying degree of jobs.  After six years of employment, I went back to my father's business and we worked together to provide quality general construction projects around our hometown.  My father and I continued doing cabinet installs for the same cabinet company that I previously worked for.  During this time of my career, I was able to build a wide array of work from decks, house additions, garages, pole buildings and building three new homes in a span of four years.  I have worked for private individuals, as well as public entities, like county government and our local school district and assisting in the construction needs.  I have a vast array of knowledge in my 20 years of experience from start to finish that leads me to help my clients.  My goal is providing top-notch craftsmanship and professionalism in every project.  I am committed to providing the highest quality custom cabinets and casework tailored to my clients' needs and preferences.  Feel free to call or email to request a quote for your project.
